Jennifer Woitas on behalf of Clayton Field  Emergencies  Ardrossan, ABLissa is a force of nature. If you have met Lissa you will know she is a loving, caring, thoughtful, strong, and all around amazing woman. Lissa and Clayton have supported everyone of us in one way or another. It is now our turn to support them and their family, as she fights for her life.

On April 25th Lissa gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. He decided to come 29 days early weighing in at 3lbs 2oz, which has meant he has had to spend some time in NICU. Both Lissa and Clayton along with their 2 daughters, aged 10 and 7, couldn’t be happier to have this new addition to their family.

But on May 2nd just one week after giving birth, Lissa suffered a life altering stroke. Lissa was quickly put into a medically induced coma, while the doctors tried to figure out what to do next. The Doctors took Lissa off sedation on May 4th, now they just have to wait to see if the swelling and bruising in her brain will go down. Lissa is currently in the Neurology ICU.

With such uncertainty, Clayton and Lissa are going to have a hard road ahead of them with lots of decisions to make regarding their family. They could use our help with travel expenses, day to day living expenses, as well as future medical costs.

Clayton is currently spending all of his time traveling between hospitals visiting his wife and new born son, and spending time at home with his girls.

Come out Saturday May 25, where we will be donating the door to Clayton and his girls, or donate here to the GoFundMe
